I’ve been using mymilemarker to track my gasoline usage for a little over a year and a half now. I simply follow mymilemarker on Twitter and then send mymm a direct message via text message on my cell with the mileage, gallons and cost/gallon every time I fill up.

So my text message at the pump looks like: d mymm 92323 5.454 $1.85

I had a hard time remembering to do this after the first few times but I’ve forced myself to remember every time I fill up. I’m totally into metrics so of course I’d be interested in this.

because I've been riding the bus, I haven't filled up since February 9th (until today that is)
