Americans have been paying too much for s***. The stuff we buy is worthless and has little value. Need proof? How long have you had your microwave or TV? Everything is made to just throw away.

But enough of my editorializing. Take a look at all the stuff car companies thought we would buy because we could. These are the cars you were supposed to purchase because your car is 3 years old now. Because people are thinking twice about consumption these days, the cars just sit in their little landfills. But now, because they cost so much to make, the car company can’t simply give them away. These vehicles are destined to be destroyed. Good-bye resources and materials. The labor that produced you was meaningless.
